Keep track of feeds
A feeding log you can both follow.
From a nursing session to a bottle with another caregiver, Fostr keeps your baby’s feeding details together. Record what happened when it is fresh, and check the shared history without piecing together messages.
Start tracking for freeLog nursing, bottles, and solids
Choose the type of feed that matches the activity. For nursing, record the side and time the session, or enter the details afterward. For bottles, record the amount using your preferred liquid unit. Solids can be logged as a separate feed type.
The form follows the kind of feed you choose: bottles need an amount, while bottle and solid-food entries do not require a duration. Notes give you space to keep context in your own words.
Give the next caregiver the same picture
A bottle logged by one caregiver appears in the same child history that the other authorized caregivers use. Before adding an entry, check the latest activity so you can see what has already been recorded.
This is useful during a change of caregiver, an overnight handoff, or a busy day when memory is doing too much work. Each caregiver uses their own account, and the profile owner decides who can access the child’s information.
Review your records without turning them into rules
Use the history to revisit individual feeds and correct an entry when needed. Pumping has its own logging workflow, so a pumping session and a baby’s feed can be recorded as distinct activities.
Everyday feeding logs are included in Fostr Free. Optional Plus rhythm predictions use recent activity to estimate a future feed time. Those estimates are planning aids: Fostr does not decide how much or how often your baby should eat, and it does not replace advice from your healthcare professional.

A few practical questions
Can I track both breastfeeding and bottle feeding?
Yes. Nursing and bottle feeds use the same child timeline, with fields suited to each type. You can also record solids and log pumping separately.
Can I enter a feed after it happened?
Yes. You can enter the feed details afterward instead of timing it live. Review the date and time before saving so the history reflects when it happened.
Does Fostr recommend a feeding amount?
No. Fostr records the amounts you enter. Rhythm estimates help with planning, but are not feeding instructions or medical advice.
